The NDHSAA sponsored State A Boys’/Girls’ Basketball Tournament will be held at the FARGODOME, 1800 University Drive North, March 8-10, 2012. Ed Lockwood, Athletic Director for Fargo Public Schools, will be the tournament manager.
East Region basketball is scheduled for February 28, March 2-3 and West Region slated March 1-3 with the top 4 boys and girls teams from each region advancing to state competition March 8. State tournament action begins at 1:00 p.m. in the Bison Sports Arena with the girls’ West Region 1st seed playing the East Region 4th seed. Boys’ contests begin at 2:00 p.m. at the FargoDome with the same bracket pairings.
Thursday March 8 and Friday March 9 provide afternoon and evening sessions. Saturday’s consolation action begins at 9:30 a.m. Tournament play continues concluding with the girls’ championship slated for 6:00 p.m. and boys’ title round following at approximately 8:30 p.m.
