MSHSL, Wells Fargo offer discounted youth tournament tickets

The Minnesota State High School League and Wells Fargo, its premier corporate partner, are once again sponsoring a state tournament discount ticket program for elementary and middle school students. Students 13 and younger will receive $2.00 off the admission to select state tournaments by picking up a Tournament Discount Coupon at participating Minnesota Wells Fargo stores and redeeming the coupon at the venue box offices.

“We are thrilled to work with Wells Fargo to provide discount student tickets for nearly all of the winter tournaments,” said David Stead, executive director of the Minnesota State High School League. “Being part of the thrill and excitement of a state tournament is a great way to keep young people interested in athletics and fine arts activities.”

Each participating Minnesota Wells Fargo store will have approximately 100 Tournament Discount Coupons available for the following tournaments:
* Dance Team: February 17-18, Target Center, Minneapolis
* Girls’ Hockey: February 22-25, Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul
* Girls’ Gymnastics: February 24-25, University Sports Pavilion, Minneapolis
* Boys’ Class A Hockey: March 7-10, Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul
* Girls’ Basketball: March 14-17, Target Center and Williams Arena, Minneapolis
* Boys’ Basketball: March 21- 24, Target Center and Williams Arena, Minneapolis

“Wells Fargo has been the premier partner of the Minnesota State High School League since 2003, and we are pleased to support both the organization and the Tournament Discount Ticket Program,” said Dave Kvamme, regional president for Wells Fargo in Minnesota. “The coupons are available at 157 Wells Fargo stores across the state of Minnesota. We hope our customers and their families will come out to support our state’s talented high school athletes.”

The Tournament Discount Coupons are free, but are available only while supplies last. No purchase is necessary. For more information about this ticket program, contact Nancy Myers at (763) 560-2262.
