The NDHSAA sponsored State Wrestling Tournament will be held at the Bismarck Civic Center, 315 S. 5th Street, on February 16-18, 2012. Jim Haussler, Athletic Director for Bismarck Public Schools, will be the tournament manager.
Schools participate in the three-day event that named Bismarck as Class A Dual and Class A Individual Team Champions and South Border as Class B Dual and Oakes as Class B Individual Team Champion in 2011.
The tournament will begin on Thursday, February 16 at 8:30 a.m. with weigh-ins and doors opening to the public at 9:00 a.m. Action begins at 10:00 a.m. with A Duals and B Individual competition. Evening action begins at 6:00 p.m. with the Parade of Athletes.
On Friday, February 17, competition begins at 10:00 a.m. with consolation round matches. Class A & B individual semi-finals and team dual championship wrestling will begin at 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, February 18, starts at 10:00 a.m. with 3rd and 4th round consolation competition. At 2:15 p.m. inductees will be recognized and at 3:00 individual introductions/championships begin.
