UND athletics launches iPhone, iPod mobile solution
UND sports are now available on the iPhoneTM platform
GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The University of North Dakota athletics department and leading technology service provider NeuLion, Inc. (TSX:NLN) today announced the launch of UND's new mobile solution for the Apple iPhone(tm).
Powered by NeuLion technology, the app gives fans access to a complete repository of video that includes various highlight packages, interviews and more which users can share with friends on Facebook and Twitter. The University of North Dakota's iPhone(tm) solution has been specifically designed and developed with a suite of video, audio, statistics, content and more, all in one convenient app.
Additional features include: Field Tracker, featuring a visual representation of important events, sort by specific stats, preferred team, or player stats and personalized features based on user-defined settings.
"This app continues our goal of providing content through a variety of channels as our fans change the way they follow UND athletics," said Matt Schill, new media editor for UND athletics. "It provides news, live stats, videos and other features directly to the users' handheld device."
UND will continue to develop its use of the app, Schill said, and hopes to deliver live streaming audio and video in the near future.
With an emphasis on ease of use and access to content anywhere at any time, UND athletics and NeuLion continue to focus on providing the ultimate destination for Fighting Sioux fans on-the-go.
