Jetvig Earns NSIC Player of the Week Honors

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota State University Moorhead junior forward Angie Jetvig was named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Week, announced Monday by the league office.

Jetvig posted career highs in both points (25) and rebounds (16) as she led the Dragons to 98-72 victory over Mayville State. Jetvig went four of six from three point range and eleven of twelve from the free throw line in the game. Her route to career highs began with a first half double-double with eighteen points and ten rebounds. Jetvig also posted one blocked shot. This is Jetvig's second double-double of the season, but vastly improved on her 15 points and 10 rebounds against Southern Indiana and 22 points and 8 rebounds in the win over Queens at the Grand Canyon/Crowne Plaza Tournament in Phoenix, A.Z.

The Dragons will begin NSIC play on Dec. 3 at Bemidji State University and their next home contest is Dec. 7 against the Blue Hawks from Dickinson State (N.D.) at 6 p.m. in Nemzek Fieldhouse.
