THIS WEEK: Eighth-ranked North Dakota (7-4-1, 6-2-0 WCHA) returns to the road to face fourth-ranked Nebraska Omaha (8-1-1, 5-0-1 WCHA) on Friday and Saturday at the Qwest Center.
It will be the first-ever meetings in hockey between the two schools, who are former North Central Conference rivals in all other sports.
UND enters the series in second place in the WCHA with 12 points, one point behind first-place Minnesota Duluth and one point ahead of third-place UNO and Denver.
