NDSU Football signings

North Dakota State University head football coach CRAIG BOHL announced the signing of 20 high school athletes to National Letters of Intent to play football and continue their education at NDSU. That announcement came today on the first day student-athletes are allowed to sign Letters of Intent.
The list includes student-athletes from seven different states including North Dakota (2), Minnesota (5), Wisconsin (2), Arizona (4), Illinois (3), Iowa (2) and Kansas (2). There are nine offensive players, 10 defensive players and one specialist.

NORTH DAKOTA (2)

ANDREW OKLAND, WR, 6-3, 190, Fargo, N.D. (South H.S.)-- First-team Class 3A all-state selection for state champion Fargo South High School and head coach Troy Mattern ... Caught 31 passes for 728 yards and 10 TDs in seven games as a senior ... All-conference pick ... North Dakota State went 9-5 and reached the NCAA Division FCS quarterfinals before falling to No. 1-ranked Eastern Washington 38-31 in overtime in Cheney, Wash., on Dec. 11. It was a dramatic turnaround for the Bison, who went 3-8 in 2009. NDSU is scheduled to open the 2011 season against Lafayette College on Sept. 3 in the Fargodome.
