(Crookston, Minn.)- The athletic department at the University of Minnesota, Crookston announced today that a newly designed Golden Eagle Athletics website has been launched to provide the best fan experience possible. The website address is still www.goldeneaglesports.com and users will be automatically directed to the new website.
The dramatically redesigned website, created in conjunction with the University of Minnesota, Crookston and SIDEARM Sports offers a fresh new look, multimedia options, advertising opportunities as well as a future online store. Fans can also follow Golden Eagle Athletic updates on Facebook, Twitter, through email and SMS feeds to cell phones all from the new site. Live statistics and video streaming are still available and can now be found under multimedia or on each team’s season schedule. Other options and information available on the previous website will still be found on the new site.
“The new Golden Eagle Athletics website will enhance our fans experience and offer a variety of options that weren’t available prior,” says Director of Athletics Stephanie Helgeson. “With the availability of new web technology and the changing information wants and needs of fans, media outlets, students, prospective students, etc. the new website will enhance not only the visibility of Golden Eagle Athletics but the University of Minnesota, Crookston.”
