PTP Players of the Week

Jenna Lundon (Waubun), Shelby Kaster (Win-E-Mac) and Tate Mosher (Fertile-Beltrami) have been chosen as the Pine to Prairie Girls and Boys Basketball Players of the Week. All three had outstanding efforts and helped their teams to a combined record of 6-1 for the week.

Jenna (Sr., Guard) reached a career milestone when she scored her 2000th career point during a win over Norman County East. She finished the night with 22 points, 11 rebounds, 7 steals and 4 assists. For the week, Lundon averaged 18.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 3.0 assists while leading her team to a 2-1 record for the week.

Shelby (So., Forward) had a big night against Bagley as the patriots picked up another North Division victory. Kaster had 24 points and 20 rebounds in the win. She also added 4 steals and 3 assists as her team went 1-0 on the week.

Tate (Sr., Guard) led the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons to a 3-0 week. He had 27 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists in a win over Win-E-Mac. Mosher followed that effort up with 33 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists against Mahnomen and then capped of the week with a 34 point, 10 rebound and 3 assist performance against Climax-Fisher. Tate hit two three-pointers in the last 8 seconds of the game against Climax-Fisher to send the game into overtime. He scored 11 of the Falcons’ 15 points in overtime to seal the win.

Other outstanding performances for the week include: Andi Knudsvig (Lake Park-Audubon), Bailee Bartunek (Lake Park-Audubon), Sam Lerud (Waubun), Jake Pavek (Mahnomen), Neil Henrickson (Ulen-Hitterdal), and Tyler George (Bagley).
