NDSU baseball looks for first win of season

The North Dakota State baseball team (0-3) aims for its first win of the season this weekend in a four-game series at Lamar (2-3), an NCAA regional qualifier out of the Southland Conference last year. Game time is 3 p.m. Friday followed by a 12 p.m. doubleheader Saturday and the series finale at 10 a.m. Sunday at Vincent-Beck Stadium (3,500) in Beaumont, Texas. Live stats for all four games will be available on GoBison.com.

Lamar has a 2-1 edge in the series with North Dakota State. The teams had one game canceled due to weather last year. Lamar won 9-7 and 12-5 with the Bison taking the middle game 10-9. NDSU has not faced any other Southland Conference opponents since moving to Division I play in 2005.
