NDSU Players Named STATS FCS All-Americans

FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State left guard Zack Johnson, free safety Tre Dempsey, long snapper James Fisher and fullback Chase Morlock were named to the STATS FCS All-America Team on Tuesday, Dec. 20.

Johnson earned his fourth All-America first team honor of the season following selections by the Associated Press, Walter Camp Football Foundation, and American Football Coaches Association.  Dempsey was named to the STATS second team following a first-team pick by the AFCA.

Fisher was named to the STATS second team and Morlock to the third team.  It was the first career All-America honor for both players.

North Dakota State finished 12-2 overall with an appearance in the FCS semifinals and won a share of its sixth straight Missouri Valley Football Conference championship with a 7-1 league record.
