LOUIS - North Dakota State left guard Zack Johnson earned his second
Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week award
of the season, the league office announced Monday, Nov. 21.
Johnson, a senior from Apple Valley, Minn., had eight knockdown blocks and allowed zero sacks or quarterback hurries as North Dakota State clinched its sixth straight conference championship with a 28-21 win at South Dakota.
Johnson graded out at 100 percent on assignment and 84 percent on technique. The Bison rolled to a season-high 369 yards rushing, held the ball for a season-best 37:10, and converted 9 of 13 third downs.
No. 1 seed North Dakota State (10-1) hosts a second round FCS playoff game Saturday, Dec. 3, against the winner of this week's first round game between San Diego and Cal Poly.
