NDSU Wrestling Receiving Votes in Latest USA Today/NWCA Coaches Poll




MANHEIM, Penn. – The North Dakota State University wrestling team received 23 votes in the latest USA Today/National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division I Coaches Poll released Tuesday, Nov. 8.

The Bison (1-0) are coming off a 25-16 win over previously ranked Iowa State Sunday at the Scheels Center. The Cyclones were ranked 14th in last week's poll before falling to South Dakota State and the Bison.

Individually, Josh Rodriguez is ranked seventh at 125 pounds in the latest InterMat rankings released earlier Tuesday. Rodriguez is also ranked eighth in the most recent OpenMat rankings unveiled Tuesday while Clay Ream is ranked 14th at 157 pounds in the OpenMat rankings.

North Dakota State hosts the Bison Open at Scheels Arena Saturday, Nov. 12.
