Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced that single game tickets for the 2016-17 season will go on sale Thursday, October 6 at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets at timberwolves.com/wolvestix or by phone at 612-673-1234.
The team also announced new single game promotions for the upcoming season that include exclusive offers and deals for ticket buyers, with a different promotion offered each day of the week. All promotional packages, with the exception to College Night, must be purchased in advance of the game at timberwolves.com/promotions.
MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS: College Night, presented by U.S. Bank
College Night, presented by U.S. Bank, will be offered two nights a week on every Monday and Wednesday night regular season home game. Students with a valid college I.D. will be able to purchase an upper level ticket for $10. Fans can also stop by the DraftKings Fantasy Sports Bar at section 217 in Target Center for happy hour starting at 5:30 p.m.
TUESDAYS: T-Shirt Tuesday
Fans can choose this package with an upper or lower level ticket, which includes limited-edition designs of Timberwolves t-shirts for each Tuesday home game throughout the season. The six T-Shirt Tuesday themes are Home Opener on Nov. 1, Military Night on Nov. 15, a holiday celebration on Dec. 6, Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14, Latino Night on Mar. 21 and Fan Appreciation Night on Apr. 11.
THURSDAYS AND SUNDAYS: Friends & Family 4-Pack, presented by Coca-Cola
The package comes with the choice of four lower or upper level tickets for the price of three, along with four concessions vouchers redeemable for popcorn and choice of a Coca-Cola bottled product. The 4-Pack also comes with access to the court for each ticket holder after the game to shoot a free throw. Available for select Thursday and Sunday regular season games (excludes Dec. 11 game).
FRIDAYS: Brats & Brews
The Brats & Brews deal can be purchased with an upper or lower level ticket and includes a 24 oz. draft beer and a Butcher & the Boar bratwurst at the game. Available all Friday night regular season games, excluding the Mar. 10 contest.
SATURDAYS: Slam Dunk Saturday
Fans who purchase this package for any Saturday regular season game will receive an upper or lower level ticket, a 16 oz. craft beer to enjoy at the game and a collectible Wolves beer stein to take home.
The Wolves home opener is on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. against the Memphis Grizzlies. The team’s longest homestand of the season is six games from Feb. 4-14, highlighted by a visit from LeBron James and the defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers on Feb. 14. There are also two four-game homestands, the first occurring from Nov. 12-17 and featuring back-to-back home games against the Los Angeles Clippers (Nov. 12) and Los Angeles Lakers (Nov. 13). The second four-game homestand is from Jan. 7-13 and features visits from Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks (Jan. 9) and Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder (Jan.13). Other notable home games include Dec. 11 and March 10 vs. Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors, a visit from Carmelo Anthony, Derrick Rose and the New York Knicks on Nov. 30, and an appearance at Target Center by Dwyane Wade and the Chicago Bulls on Feb. 12.
