CHARLESTON,
S.C. - North Dakota State kicker Adam Keller was named FCS National
Placekicker of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards on
Tuesday, Oct. 28.
Keller,
a senior from Lewisberry, Pa., scored 17 points in No. 1-ranked North
Dakota State’s 47-7 win at South Dakota converting five PAT kicks and
connecting on four field goals from 23, 21, 49 and 23 yards.
He
has the sixth longest streak in MVFC history with 88 consecutive PAT
kicks made and ranks second in NDSU history in career PATs (162-168).
Keller
moved into second in NDSU history for single-season field goals (17)
and career field goals (44). He ranks second nationally this year in
field goals per game (2.13) and ninth in points per game (10.0). He is
third among FCS active players in career field goals made (44) and
points per game (7.7).
North
Dakota State (8-0, 4-0 MVFC) hosts South Dakota State (5-3, 2-2 MVFC)
at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, in the annual Dakota Marker game at Gate
City Bank Field at the Fargodome.
