GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota was
ranked No. 6 in the latest USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine
Polls, both of which were released on Monday.
UND had been previously ranked No. 3 in both polls but
suffered a drop after a loss and a tie last weekend at Minnesota. It ran UND’s
winless skid to four games (0-3-1), all of which have come on the road.
NCHC rival Minnesota Duluth was the unanimous No. 1 in
both polls while UND’s next opponent, Denver, was ranked No. 2 in both. The
Fighting Hawks will host the Pioneers on Friday and Saturday at Ralph Engelstad
Arena.
