NDSU's Kuhnert MVFC Offensive Lineman of the Week

ST. LOUIS - North Dakota State center Austin Kuhnert was named Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week by the league office Monday, Nov. 7.  It is his first career award.

Kuhnert, a junior from Sioux Falls, S.D., had six knockdowns and did not allow a sack or hurry in North Dakota State’s 24-3 home win over Youngstown State.  He graded out at 100 percent on assignment, 87 percent technique and 84 percent finish on 43 plays.

Kuhnert was part of an offensive line that led the way for 240 rushing yards, the most allowed by Youngstown State this year, including the first career 100-yard game for running back Chase Morlock.  The Bison averaged 7.5 yards per rush.

No. 4-ranked North Dakota State (8-1, 5-1 MVFC) hosts Indiana State (4-6, 2-5 MVFC) at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.
