National polls peg North Dakota 13th, 14th after split at UNO

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota is ranked No. 13 in the latest USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll and No. 14 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll, both of which were released earlier today.

North Dakota is coming off of a National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) split at unranked Nebraska Omaha, winning 3-2 on Sunday after a 4-2 defeat on Saturday.

Minnesota and Michigan maintained the top two spots in both polls, with St. Cloud State, Notre Dame and Quinnipiac also receiving first-place votes in both. Providence also receive a single first-place vote in the USA Today poll.

UND’s next opponent, Minnesota Duluth, was ranked 20^th in the USCHO poll but was unranked in the USA Today poll. The Bulldogs visit Ralph Engelstad Arena on Friday and Saturday.
