17th Annual NCW Booster Club Golf Scramble results

The 17th Annual NCW Booster Club Golf Scramble was held on Thursday, July 21st, 2011, at the Goose River Country Club in Hillsboro. There were a total of 22 teams that golfed between the afternoon and the evening session.

Winning Team members for the 18 hole afternoon session were:
1st place: Thomas Strand, Jordan Larson, Payton Rufsvold, Luke Maring 2nd place: Harlan Rise, Dave Rufsvold, Kurt Vandermeer, Don Forney
3rd Place: Andrew Ness, Brandon Burke, Payton Gordon

The evening 9 hole contest winners were:
1st place: Don Forney, Chris Redland, Brandon Mickelson, Andrew Shae
2nd place: Brady Holte, Blaine Borgen, Cody Holte, Matt Sharp
3rd place: David Nelson, Paul Nelson, Lucas Spaeth, Steve Rude

In the individual hole competitions the winners were:
Hole #1 – Closest to the Pin, 2nd shot – Jerry Preuss
Hole #2 – Longest Drive-Women – Anita Olson
Hole #3 – Longest Putt – Brandon Burke
Hole #4 – Closest to the Center – Jordan Larson
Hole #5 – Highest Team Score – Lana Franklin, Jake Franklin
Hole #6 – Farthest from the pin on the green – Payton Gordon
Hole #7 – Longest Drive – Men – Thomas Strand
Hole #8 – Shortest Drive – Women – Lea Leiser
Hole #8 – Shortest Drive – Men – Chris Redland
Hole #9 – Closest to the Pin – Tod Harrington

Over $4000 was raised during this Annual Booster Club Fundraiser, which will be used for students and activities at Norman County West.
