CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota
Crookston baseball team will be hosting two baseball camps on Sun., Feb.
21. The camps are open to all baseball players in grades 7-12. The
camps will focus on the fundamentals of the game and will feature
techniques, drills and activities that have been proven to enhance
performance at all levels. Both camps will be held at the UMC Sports
Center on the UMC campus.
Sunday
will open with a pitching/catching camp that will run from 10 a.m. to
1:30 p.m., followed by a hitting/defense and strength and conditioning
camp from 2-6 p.m.
The
cost for the camps are $50 for the pitching/catching camp and $75 for
the hitting/defense and strength conditioning camp and $100 to partake
in both camps. They will be directed by Head Coach Steve Gust, current
assistant/pitching coach Ryan Paasch, volunteer assistant
coach/certified NASM strength and conditioning specialist Kyle Isaacson
and volunteer assistant and former professional player Alex Sumner.
