Minneapolis/St. Paul – Major League Baseball today announced that Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star
forward Kevin Love will participate in the 2014 Taco Bell All-Star
Legends and Celebrity Softball Game as part of Taco Bell All-Star Sunday
at Target Field. Love will play alongside Minnesota sports stars Maya
Moore of the Minnesota Lynx, Zach Parise of the Minnesota Wild and
Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings.
“I
am very excited to represent the Timberwolves in the Taco Bell All-Star
Legends and Celebrity Softball Game,” said Love. “Thank you to Taco
Bell and Major League Baseball for the opportunity and I look forward to
joining my fellow Minnesota athletes at Target Field for what will be a
fun weekend.”
The
Taco Bell® All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game will be
televised by ESPN at approximately 10:30 p.m. Eastern immediately
following the Home Run Derby which begins at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on
Monday, July 14th. The Game will also be available via the WatchESPN
app.
The
Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game is the second
game of a fun doubleheader of activity at Target Field during Taco Bell
All-Star Sunday. Preceding the softball game will be the SiriusXM
All-Star Futures Game, which will air live on MLB Network at 4:00pm
Central, featuring some of MLB’s best young prospects from the U.S. and
around the world.
