GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The University of North Dakota maintained its No. 17 ranking in the most recent USCHO.com Division I men's poll released earlier today.
UND, which has lost just twice in the last 11 games (8-2-1), is coming off of a Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) split with Minnesota last weekend, winning 2-1 on Friday and losing 6-2 on Saturday. Minnesota climbed one spot to No. 4 following the split.
Defending NCAA champion Minnesota Duluth was the unanimous No. 1 once again after receiving all 50 first-place votes. Boston University and Boston College, ranked second and third, respectively, rounded out the top five.
UND will travel to St. Cloud State next weekend. The Huskies were unranked in this week's poll but did receive a pair of votes.
