GRAND FORKS, N.D. - North Dakota is ranked No. 19 in this week's USCHO.com Division I men's poll released earlier today.
UND is coming off of a win and a tie against non-conference foe Harvard last weekend, winning 7-3 on Saturday after a 4-4 overtime tie on Friday. UND had been ranked No. 18 in the previous USCHO poll, which was released prior to the Christmas break.
Defending NCAA champion Minnesota Duluth maintained its grip on the poll's top spot by garnering 47 of 50 first-place votes. No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Minnesota, No. 4 Boston College and No. 5 Notre Dame rounded out the top five.
UND returns to action on Saturday when it hosts Clarkson in Winnipeg at the MTS Centre, in a game dubbed the U.S. College Hockey Classic.
