FARGO, N.D. – The
North Dakota State men’s basketball team will play non-conference games at
Power 5 opponents Arizona, USC and Mississippi State to highlight the schedule
for the 2017-18 season.
NDSU’s first three
regular season games are on the road. The Bison will open the season at UC
Santa Barbara on Nov. 11 and stay in southern California to take on USC on Nov.
13.
NDSU plays at Missouri
State on Nov. 17, beginning a second home-and-home series with the Bears that
will bring the Missouri Valley Conference opponent to Fargo again during the
2018-19 season. The Bison host Missouri State for the first time on Dec. 4 this
season.
The home opener is
scheduled for Nov. 22 against Florida A&M.
NDSU will meet
Mississippi State of the SEC on Nov. 30 and Arizona of the Pac-12 Conference on
Dec. 18.
NDSU’s two contests
against North Dakota are Dec. 9 in Grand Forks and Jan. 16 in Fargo.
Summit League play
begins Jan. 3 for the Bison when South Dakota State visits the Scheels Center.
NDSU plays five of its first seven Summit League games at home and closes the
year with four of the final five league contests on the road.
