CROOKSTON, Minn. – The
University of Minnesota Crookston volleyball program will be holding
camps at Lysaker Gymnasium this summer. You can join the Golden Eagles
for an opportunity to learn under Head Volleyball Coach Sarah Rauen and
Assistant Coach Ethan Grefsrud.
In
addition to the camps that will be located at Lysaker Gymnasium, the
Golden Eagles are also offering the chance at Satellite camps. You can

The
Golden Eagles will host three types of camps this summer. Little Eagle
Camps are offered for girls and boys grades 7 and under. Golden Eagles
Camps will be available for girls and boys grades 7 to incoming college
freshman. In addition, Individual Skills Camps will be available for
girls and boys grades 7 to incoming freshman that are looking to become
better players at their positions.
The
Little Eagles Camps will teach campers new skills in a fun-filled
environment June 8-9 and July 27-28. The cost of the camp is $50. Check
in will be at 8:30 a.m. with camp running from 9-11:30 a.m. each day.
The
Golden Eagles Camps will teach campers all the skills involved in
becoming a better volleyball player through skill work and competitive
play. The cost of the camp is $100. Check in will be at 1 p.m. with the
camps running from 1:30-4:30 and 5:30-7p.m. No meals will be provided
for this camp. The camps will run June 8-9 and July 27-28.
The
Individual Skills Camp will include training on the techniques of elite
level play including attacking, defense/passing, serving and setting.
Each skills a one-hour session. The cost is $15 per skill and $50 for
all four. The camps will take place June 7 and June 26. The attacking
portion will take place 9-10 a.m. The defensive/passing drills will run
from 10-11 a.m. The serving drills will run from 12-1 p.m. and the
setting drills will run from 1-2 p.m. No meals will be provided for this
camp, as well.
