Minneapolis/St. Paul –
The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team’s 2016 preseason
schedule. The Wolves will play seven exhibition contests, including two
games at Target Center, and three off-site games: Saturday, Oct. 8 vs.
Miami at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri, Wednesday, Oct. 12 vs.
Denver at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska and Saturday, Oct. 15
vs. Miami at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The Wolves will
serve as the home team in Lincoln and be the visitor in Kansas City and
Louisville.
The
fans first chance to see the 2016-17 Wolves at Target Center will be on
Wednesday, Oct. 19 when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m.
The Wolves’ second preseason contest at Target Center will be vs. the
Charlotte Hornets on Friday, Oct. 21.
In
the other two preseason games, Minnesota will travel to Charlotte to
play the Hornets on Monday, Oct. 10, and go to Oklahoma City to take on
the Thunder on Sunday, Oct. 16.
The
Wolves’ preseason broadcast schedule, as well as the on-sale date for
the Target Center preseason games, will be announced at a later date.
