FARGO,
N.D. – The North Dakota State women’s and men’s cross country teams
have released their schedules for the upcoming 2015 season. NDSU will
open the season at home on Sept. 4 and travel to three regular season
competitions before competing at the Summit League Championships on
Oct. 31 in Brookings, S.D.
NDSU
will hold its season-opening Bison Open at Rose Creek Golf Course on
Friday, Sept. 4, before taking a three-week break from competition. The
Bison will return to action on Sept. 26 at the Stanford Invitational in
Palo Alto, Calif.
The
Bison are scheduled to run at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Brookings,
S.D., on Oct. 3 and the UND Ron Pynn Invitational in Grand Forks, N.D.,
on Oct. 17.
South Dakota State will host the 2015 Summit League Cross Country Championships on Oct. 31 in Brookings.
The
NCAA Midwest Regional will be hosted by Kansas in Lawrence, Kan., on
Nov. 13, and the NCAA Championships will take place in Louisville, Ky.,
on Nov. 21.
The
Bison women return their top three finishers from the Summit League
meet a year ago in juniors Erin Teschuk, Taylor Janssen and Tarin
Lachowitzer. Senior Brendan Skime and sophomore Brant Gilbertson are the
top returners for the NDSU men.
