ELMHURST, Ill. – North Dakota State’s Taylor Braun was named as The Summit League’s Men’s Basketball Player of the Week following his performance Feb. 10-16.

In a victory over Omaha, Braun recorded Summit League game highs by scoring 31 points and pulling down 15 rebounds. His stats line included five assists, a 75.0 percent (12-of-16) field goal percentage, 80.0 percent (4-of-5) three-point tield goal percentage, and 100.0 percent (3-of-3) free throw percentage. In the week’s previous game, a victory at Western Illinois, Braun scored 19 points on 55.6 percent (5-of-9) shooting and 80.0 percent (8-of-10) free throw shooting to go along with three assists, three rebounds and two steals. For the week, he averaged 25.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 steals and shot 68.0 percent from the field, 62.5 percent from beyond the arc and 84.6 percent at the line. Braun’s five Player of the Week awards this season tie for the third-most on record while his seven career honors tie him for fourth.
