NDSU's Alexander to Play in Reese’s College All-Star Game

INDIANAPOLIS – North Dakota State senior Lawrence Alexander has been selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches to play in the 2015 Reese’s College All-Star Game this Friday at the Final Four in Indianapolis.

The Reese’s College All-Star Game features 20 of the finest senior college basketball players from NCAA Division I playing on the Final Four floor at Lucas Oil Stadium. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. (ET) / 3:30 p.m. (CT) on Friday afternoon.

Alexander joins Ben Woodside (2009) as Bison to have earned an invite to the event.

Nebraska head coach and former NDSU coach Tim Miles will coach the Reese’s East All-Stars, while Jim Crews of St. Louis University will lead the Reese’s West All-Stars.

Alexander was named The Summit League’s Player of the Year and Tournament MVP this season, as well as earning NABC first-team All-District and AP honorable mention All-America honors. He ranked fifth in the nation in minutes per game (38.5) and eighth nationally in three-point percentage (44.1%) for the season.

The Peoria, Ill., native set new NDSU career records for minutes played (4,631), games started (131) and wins (90). Alexander finished his Bison career ranked fourth in school history with 1,755 points.
