NDSU Men's BB Ranked 9th in College Insider Mid-Major Top 25

The North Dakota State men’s basketball team is ranked ninth in the most recent edition of the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 Poll released this week, up two spots from No. 11 in last week’s poll.

NDSU peaked at No. 6 in the Nov. 11 edition of the mid-major poll for the highest rank in school history. The Bison were ranked seventh in the preseason poll this year, 10th in January 2013, and 11th in the final poll of 2009.

The Bison are the only team from The Summit League to be ranked.

NDSU also remains among the top 30 teams in the nation in the latest Rating Percentage Index (RPI) projections. As of Jan. 7, the Bison were ranked No. 22 by RealTime RPI, No. 25 by CBS Sports and No. 27 by ESPN in the various RPI projections. The first official RPI of the season has yet to be released by the NCAA.

NDSU opens Summit League play on the road this week at Fort Wayne on Jan. 9 and IUPUI on Jan. 11.
