Teschuk earned her first Summit League Track & Field Athlete of the Week award after her record-setting performance at the Bison Classic over the weekend. She set a new NDSU and facility record in the mile with a converted time of 4:38.44. The time eclipsed her personal best by more than ten seconds and is currently the second-best mark in the nation in the event. The Winnipeg native posted a time that would have ranked fourth among all Canadian women in 2014 (professionals included).
The Bison return to action on Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Jim Emmerich SDSU Alumni Invitational in Brookings, S.D.
