CROOKSTON,
Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston held their annual golf outing at the
Heart of the Valley Golf Course in Ada , Minn. on Thurs., July 11. 55 golfers took place
in the event which raised $2,000 for athletic scholarships at the University of Minnesota Crookston . Kappes Hauling won the first flight of
the day with Range, Inc. taking home for second flight. 11 teams took part
overall in the UMC Teambackers event.

Teambacker/Heart of the Valley Golf Tournament a great event,” says Director of
Athletic Fundraising Bill Tyrrell. “The tournament was a tremendous success. 55
golfers participated and $2,000 was raised for student-athlete scholarships at
the University of Minnesota Crookston . We truly appreciate the support from the
community of Ada and surrounding areas.”

The next Teambacker Golf Tournament will be Sat., July 20. The 23rd annual Teambackers Golf Classic is held at Minakwa Golf Club inCrookston , Minn. and will begin at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
