North Dakota State University’s annual spring football coaches clinic is scheduled for April 8-9 at the Fargodome.
Featured speakers are from North Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska and South Dakota high schools, and current Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator and former NDSU player, assistant coach and defensive coordinator Casey 'Gus' Bradley. He served as defensive coordinator for the Bison from 1997-2002, and again in 2005. Under Bradley’s guidance, the Bison defense led the Great West Football Conference in scoring defense (13.7 ppg), pass defense (150.3 ypg), total defense (272.4 ypg) and turnover margin (+1) in 2005. He played his college football at NDSU (1984-1988), where he was a free safety and punter, a four-time academic All-North Central Conference selection and a valuable member of the 1988 national championship football team.
The clinic will also feature Bison head football coach Craig Bohl and the NDSU staff with on-field drill demonstrations.
The cost will be $30 per coach in advance ($35 at the door) or $125 for an entire staff. For more information, contact AJ Cooper at (701) 231-7059 or email andrew.cooper@ndsu.edu. College credit is also available, contact Dr. Denis Isrow at (701) 231-7463.
